Description:

The UCL Division of Medicine offers ten postgraduate masters degree programmes with some common elements and some elements specific to each programme. The Division of Medicine is offering 3 bursaries of £5000 each to students on the following programmes:

  • MSc Advanced Biomedical Imaging
  • MSc Clinical Drug Development
  • MRes Clinical Drug Development
  • MSc Genetics and Multiomics in Medicine (new for 2021/22)
  • MSc Human Tissue Repair
  • MRes Human Tissue Repair
  • MSc Precision Medicine
  • MSc Respiratory Clinical Science

Number of Awards: The Division of Medicine is offering 3 bursaries of £5000

Duration of the Scholarship: The award is tenable for 1 year and is subject to satisfactory academic progress.

Benefits:

Students who wish to pursue part time or full time post graduate degree in the division od Medicine can apply for the post graduate bursaries offered by UCL. Selected candidates will be benefited with

  1. Postgraduate Taught Bursaries of £5000 each.
  2. The award amount will be deducted from the cost of fees.

APPLICATION DETAILS

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Taught Bursaries offered by the Division of Medicine that are available to applicants applying for entry in 2021/22,

  1. All applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study on a taught Masters programme at the UCL Division of Medicine.
  2. This award is open to both full-time and part-time applicants applying for MSc Advanced Biomedical Imaging, MSc/MRes Clinical Drug Development, MSc/MRes Human Tissue Repair, MSc Precision Medicine, MSc Respiratory Clinical Science
  3. The award is made on the basis of a combination of academic excellence and financial need.

How to apply:

To apply for the Division of Medicine Postgraduate Taught Bursaries 2021/2022,

  1. Download the online application form.
  2. Fill in the application form with your personal details, selected course details, academic details, work experience, personal statement and other funding and scholarship details.
  3. Submit this application form to Nick Bone at n.bone@ucl.ac.uk by 31st July 2021
  4. For the selected applicants, the award will be applied to the recipient’s fees at the time of enrolment.
  5. It is important to read the terms and conditions specified in the application form.

Assessment Process

The award will be made by the Council upon the recommendation of a selection panel. Successful applicants will be contacted as soon as possible once the deadline has passed.
