NFSU MAKES HISTORY AS THE FIRST GOVERNMENT UNIVERSITY OF INDIA TO LAUNCH A CAMPUS ABROAD

National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) has made history by becoming the first Indian government university to set up a campus overseas. The campus in Jinja, Uganda, marks a crucial milestone in the bilateral ties between the two countries. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar did the honours at the inauguration of the campus.

He expressed his pride on this occasion, mentioning that NFSU is also the world’s first university dedicated to forensic sciences. The minister also stated that seeing the university take the lead gives him even more pleasure because it hails from the state of Gujarat. He is a Member of Parliament from this state.
