SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

Edith Cowan University offers International Master’s Degree Scholarship for international students from selected countries who are applying for select Masters degrees at ECU. Applicants must be an international student who receives an offer; or a conditional offer, to study a course at ECU during the 2022 intake.

Duration of the Scholarship: Selected applicants will receive financial assistance during the first year of their ECU course.

Benefits:

The International Masters Scholarship by ECU offers up to 20 percent reduction in your tuition fees for the first year of your Masters course at ECU. The scholarships are open to future international students seeking to enroll at Edith Cowan University.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  1. be a citizen of one of the countries identified above;
  2. be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);
  3. study at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus (some components of your course may be delivered online due to travel restrictions);
  4. not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship;
  5. between 26 May 2021 and 31 July 2022, be issued an offer to study a postgraduate degree;
  6. meet ECU’s entry requirements for the course and commence study in the course during the 2022 intake; and
  7. study one of the selected postgraduate courses mentioned in the official website.

How to apply:

  1. Applicants has to apply for ECU course via the ECU online application portal or ECU’s Authorized Agents.
  2. Applicants are able to package with ELICOS and a Post-Graduate Qualifying Program with Edith Cowan College
  3. Open to prospective international students (not current students except those receiving the Welcome to ECU Online Scholarship
  4. If your ECU course application is approved, you’ll automatically be assessed for this scholarship by our Admissions Office. No separate scholarship application is required.
  5. The Admissions Office will issue a separate letter relating to your scholarship, along with a Letter of Offer for your course, to confirm whether you’ve been successful.
