The Foundation Preparation Pathway Programme (FPP Programme) includes three elite universities- the University of Auckland, Victoria University Wellington, and AUT University.

The Racine-based manufacturer SC Johnson is donating a massive sum of $5.5 million to Gateway Technical College as scholarships for people of color, women, and low-income students pursuing career fields related to STEM. It is the single largest donation to the school in its history.

The Indiana Latino Institute (ILI) will provide scholarships worth $11 million for the Latino youth in the coming five years. The initiative aims to boost post-secondary education in the Latino community in the face of the prevailing cultural and financial barriers for these students.

TWO YALE COLLEGE ALUMNI CHOSEN FOR GATES CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARSHIP

Clara Ma and Hallie Gaitsch from the Yale College Class of 2019 have been named among 24 U.S. citizens for the prestigious 2021 Gates Cambridge Scholarship. The scholarship is conferred upon nearly 80 students from around the world every year and provides the full cost of attendance of a full-time postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge.

AUSTRALIA DEFENDS SAFETY AN EDUCATIONAL DESTINATION

After facing flak from the Chinese Ministry of Education regarding safety risks, the   Morrison government stated that Australia is safe for all. Alan Tudge, the federal minister for education, has denied these claims and accused China of spreading disinformation. He also stated that Australia does not tolerate racism and violence.

NO TIMELINE YET FOR RETURN OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TO AUSTRALIA

International students aspiring to study in Australia faced disappointment yet again as the government failed to give a timeframe for being allowed back into the country. Right now, around 30% of 542,106 Australian student visa holders are still stuck waiting to be back and resume studies.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN CANADA SEEK ANSWERS ON QUÉBEC VISA PROCESSING

International students planning to study in Québec are experiencing extreme stress due to the unprecedented delays in study visa issuance. Further, this Canadian province is conducting extra checks relating to certain institutions after the suspension of visa processing at the end of 2020.
