SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
Description: At the University of Melbourne, over 150 bursaries are established by various generous bequests and donations to assist students in financial need. Students who plan to study at Melbourne University, but looking for financial assistance can apply for the student grants offered by the university.
Number of Awards: Approximately 250 grants are awarded every year
Scholarship Benefits: Students in need of financial assistance to study their higher studies at the University of Melbourne, can apply for the student grants offered by the University.
Selected candidates will be provided with a single payment varying from approximately $200 to $10,000.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants need to:
- be enrolled at the University of Melbourne
- provide evidence of financial need
How to apply:
To apply to the student grants offered by the University of Melbourne,
- Any international student, Australian / domestic student is eligible to apply for this student grant.
- The candidate has to be enrolled in any of the study courses at the University of Melbourne.
- Submit an online Student Financial Assessment form by the closing date. The application form will only be available to access when the round is open. Only currently enrolled students will be able to submit an application.
- Applications are accepted in two rounds:
- Round 1 closes 7 March
- Round 2 closes on 1 August
- Candidates are selected based on their financial need.
Assessment Process:
Successful applicants for Round 1 will be notified of the outcome of their application via email in early April, and Round 2 outcomes will be communicated in late August.
